摘要

Seedlings of sarson (ECD07/susceptible and ECD06/resistant) and B. oleracea (ECD14/susceptible and Bohmerwaldkohl/resistant) were inoculated with isolates of the pathogen from each host and the progress of pathogenesis in the infected roots was followed by light microscopy. Susceptible and resistant genotypes were clearly distinguished 12 and 22 d after inoculation. The pathogen could not be detected in any of the resistant genotypes after 22 d and results suggested that development of P. brassicaeis stopped at the beginning of the secondary phase of the life cycle.
