JDR to use new reeler design in Aker Solutions' deal

UK-based supplier of subsea umbilicals and power cables to the offshore energy industry, JDR, hasbeen awarded a contract for intervention, workover and control systems (IWOCS) by Aker SolutionsSubsea Division. The project - which is scheduled for delivery in mid-2016 - will include the first deployment of JDR'sinnovative 'Mark II Reeler' concept.The scope of supply includes 2 x1200 m umbilicals, which provideannulus circulation function tosubsea systems.
