Leoni Q3 2016 results affected by fraud case

Germany's Leoni said that the fraud uncovered in August 2016 diminished EBIT by about ?40 million($44 million), taking the result down to a loss of ?12.7 million ($14 million) in Q3 2016. This comparesto an EBIT of ?29.8 million in Q3 2015.Leoni said its internal investigations into the fraud case have "advanced a long way and that externalinvestigations are still ongoing". The auto harness and cable producer said it continues to examineoptions for claiming compensation, but that this is unlikely to be resolved in the current financial year.
