Short-term pain, long-term gain for CMC

US recycler and long steel manufacturer Commercial Metals Company (CMC) says it expects atough few months ahead, but foresees increasing orders 12 months down the line.The company made the comments as it reported results for its fiscal first quarter ending 30November. Net earnings were $25.1 M (?23.3 M) on sales of $1.2 bn, respectively 22.0% and 29.4%lower on the year-ago period.
