Metinvest invests $230 M in iron ore development

Ukrainian steel maker Metinvest is spending UAH5.1 bn ($230 M, ?206 M) in its iron ore operations(GOKs) on long-term projects and equipment upgrades.A mining and transfer complex is being added to the Pervomaiskiy open pit to boost development ofthe operations. The first start-up facility is due to be commissioned next March with a secondfollowing in December 2016.
