GPH Ispat is to add an 815,000 t/y mini-mill to its operations in Chittagong to produce bars, sections andbillets. It currently has annual production capacities of 168,000 t billets and 150,000 t rebars and profiles."The new mini-mill will allow the company to substantially increase its capacities, and become one of thecountry's leading producers, serving the growing domestic and export markets," said PrimetalsTechnologies.
