Australia is to impose anti-dumping (AD) duties of up to 57% on imports of rebar and rod-in-coil from China.In adopting a recommendation from the country's Anti-Dumping Commission, industry minister ChristopherPyne said: "It's only reasonable that our manufacturers compete in a fair market."The commission found that the steel products had been exported by Chinese producers at prices belowmanufacturing costs and had caused material injury to the Australian steel industry.
