Toyota Motor Sets Target of 60% Bioplastic Use in Auto Interiors

Toyota Motor plans to use plant-derived bioplastics in more of its vehicle models,starting with a new hybrid vehicle to be launched this year.It is aiming for bioplastics to constitute 60% of the entire material usage for its vehicles'interior components this year,identifying 10 interior parts for their application including scuff plates,roof headliners and seat cushions.
