Singapore's economy continues to expand.Its real GDP annual growth rate was 8.7% in 2004 and has been on a steady course,reaching 6.4% in 2005 and 7.9% in 2006,both of which exceeded its government's estimates.In Q2 2007 its GDP marked a more than 14% yearon-year increase.The continued rise is attributed to the country's manufacturing sector,which grew by 11.4% in 2006.
