Teijin to Suspend Polyester Bottle-to-Bottle Recycling

The Teijin group has decided to put on hold indefinitely its "bottle-to-bottle" recycling of post-consumer polyethylene terephthalate bottles, which converts the used polyester bottles back into PET resin of sufficient purity that the resin can be used to manufacture new PET bottles.
