A consortium of 15 Japanese companies led by trading house Mitsui & Co is accelerating efforts to introduce their wastewater-treatment technologies and related products to various manufacturing industries in China, a country where demand for residential and industrial water is reported to be growing at an annualized 4%, with most of the growth concentrated in urban areas.
