According to Ali Kardor, managing director of National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC), the country hopes increase crude production from 3.89MM b/d to 4.0MM b/d within two weeks. Speaking on Oct. 17, he added that the country also planned to increase its exports from 2.2MM b/d to 2.4MM b/d at the same time. By the end of the Iranian year in March 2107, he said, "We think we will be able to export 2.5 million b/d, and gas condensates will be 500,000 b/d by then."
