Crude exports from the Middle Eastern nation declined from 7.835MM b/d in Jan. to 7.553MM b/d in Feb., though overall crude production rose from 10.22MM b/d to 10.23MM b/d. Saudi Aramco said the drop in exports was mainly due to higher consumption at domestic refineries, with refinery throughputs increasing from an average of 2.468MM b/d in Jan. to 2.670MM b/d in Feb. Crude demand for power consumption declined month-on-month from 293K b/d to 291K b/d.
