The French energy major is expected to take a 10% stake in a planned $4B, 60K-b/d refinery project in the African nation. Total is already operating in the Ugandan upstream and the refinery will be an oudet for some of the crude it produces in the country. In addition to Total Tanzania will take an 8.0% stake in the plant and Kenya will take a 2.5% stake.
