Air Products, Technip mark 20 year anniversary of H2 alliance.

The two firms celebrated the 20 year anniversary of their global H2 alliance for servicing the oil and gas industry. Over the course of the partnership, Air Products and Technip have built 35 steam methane reformer (SMR) H2 plants in 11 countries with a combined output of over 2B scf/d (2.4MM Nm~3/h) of H2. One recent installation in 2011 located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands was said to improve H2 supply efficiency by over 15% compared to the former supply source while also lowering GHG emissions by over 200K mt/y.
