A total of 39 companies have expressed interest in buying the Hamilton and Nanticoke integratedsteel works in Canada and continue operating them as a productive business, court papers show.The mills have been offered for sale under creditor protection by US Steel as part of a widerreorganisation by the Pittsburgh-headquartered group.
