Miner Rio Tinto has lowered its forecast for next year's iron ore production for its Australian operations tobetween 330 Mt and 340 Mt, down from 350 Mt.The reason is a delay in the rollout of its US$518 M (?458 M) autonomous transport technology, known asAutohaul and based on driverless trains, because testing continues. A total of 71 autonomous trucks areplanned to be used at the company's Pilbara region iron ore mines in northwestern Australia.
