Rating agency looks positively on ArcelorMittal

Standard & Poor's (S&P) has revised its outlook on ArcelorMittal to positive from negative, skipping theusual half-way stage of neutral. The group's key credit ratings are left unchanged.The improved view of its prospects follow markedly better Q2 and Q3 earnings compared with weakpreceding quarters, the agency said, which also projects stronger results this year thanks to a recovery insteel and iron ore prices relieving pressure on margins, and the benefits of ArcelorMittal's efficiencyprogramme.
