Hankook Tire recalls nearly 47,000 tires

WASHINGTON— Hankook Tire America Corp. is recalling 46,988 Hankook Ventus S1 Noble 2 tires for possible sidewall cracks. The tires affected by the recall are size 245/45R18 96W, 245/40-R19 94W and 275/35R19 96W, according to the company. The size 245/45R18 96W tires were manufactured between May 20, 2013, and Feb. 14, 2015, and the others between May 22, 2013, and Feb. 14, 2015, Hankook said.
