On December 27, Nippon Denko Co., Ltd. and Chuo Denki Kogyo Co., Ltd. made a decision for management integration based on both companies' board of directors's meetings. This time's integration took place based on the share swap as Nippon Denko being a wholly owning parent company and Chuo Denki Kogyo being a wholly owned subsidiary with an effective date for the share swap being 1 July 2014, and the company name is scheduled to be changed to “Shin Nippon Denko Co., Ltd.”.
