Chiba Ranks First In Japan's Nov 2012 Scrap Exports By Customs Ports

Chiba Port ranked first at 97,000 tons in Japan's ferrous scrap exports in November 2012 by customs ports, up 31.5% from the same month of a year ago; Kawasaki Port second at 89,000 tons, up 0.2%; and Tokyo Port third at 56,000 tons, down 6.9%, according to announced trade statistics from the Ministry of Finance. The nation's ferrous scrap exports totaled 735,000 tons in November 2012, up 19.3% from the same month of a year ago.
