Stalemated Price Talks on New Japano-Korean Deals for No2 HMS

Price negotiations between sellers and buyers face a stalemate again on new deals for No2 HMS in ferrous scrap exports out of Japan to South Korea. The price negotiations are marking time so far at the level of Y34,500/MT FOB. Information circulated last week that South Korea's major steelmaker had bought three ferrous scrap cargoes anew from the USA at US$385/MT C&F each for No1 HMS.
