Negotiations on electric resistance-welded (ERW) steel pipes by the Japanese pipe mills are forced into a tough battle. It is because those prices already fall well below $900 CFR but those of Korean ERW pipes are cheaper than that level. They are said to be the lower end of the $800 CFR level.
