No2 HMS Prices To Slide Further In New Japano-Korean Scrap Deals

There is a high probability that No2 HMS prices will further slide to around Y31,000/MT FOB in new deals for ferrous scrap exports out of Japan to South Korea. No2 HMS prices showed no marked change in the first half of this week after Hyundai Steel Co bought No2 HMS anew from Japan at Y33,000/MT FOB last week. But South Korean steelmakers have already held down their price ideas to Y32,000/MT FOB or under for new purchases of No2 HMS from Japan.
