Japan & India to Seek Stronger Tie-up within Asia for Cheaper LNG

Japan and India announced in their joint statement on September 9 that the two countries agreed to seek stronger tie-up with other Asian LNG consuming countries for lower-cost LNG, after a meeting between Mr. Toshimitsu Motegi, the Minister of Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry of Japan and Mr. Veerappa Moily, the Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister of India.
