TEPCO's Onahama Coal Center Enters Full-Scale Operation

TEPCO's Onahama coal center, located in Onahama City, Fukushima prefecture, has started a full-scale operation, using the newly constructed facilities. The center, located at No. 6 and 7 wharves of Onahama port, is a transit base for the imported coal to be consumed at TEPCO's Hirono thermal plant, i.e. it serves unloading, storing coal as well as transshipping the coal onto coasters for transportation up to Hirono thermal plant.
