JFE Steel To Increase Prices Of Hot Coils For Mar. Shipment By Another 50 dollars

JFE Steel has firmly established a policy to increase its prices of hot-rolled steel coils for March shipment by another 50 dollars as it finalized negotiations on hot coils for January/February shipment with Turkey, and realized 30 dollars increase in such negotiations which was not fully satisfied but reached its minimal goal. If this increase in price penetrates, it becomes 80 dollars in total but its prices cannot be recovered to 750 dollars C&F which was the level before dropping in price prior to the middle of September last year. With this, JFE has a policy to make 750 dollars C&F a starting price subsequently with effort to return to this level as earlier as possible.
