Japanese Mills To Raise GI Base Metal Prices For Asia For Jan. Shipment

Negotiations on base metals for galvanized sheets (GI base metals) mainly for Southeast Asia have passed over the peak for December shipment. The Japanese mills' contracted price level seems to have been $720 to 730 CFR with no fluctuations from November shipment. Negotiations for January shipment will start soon. The Japanese mills are in the direction to raise their prices as it is the demand season in January.
