Ferrochrome--Prices start to bottom out, as demand stabilises

Ferrochrome demand has stopped collapsing in most regions and industry stocks are being gradually eroded. Consequently prices have started to stabilise and even rise, as there are signs that the market is beginning to tighten. But, while demand has stopped falling, it still remains extremely weak, and with production costs hovering at just below current prices, higher levels of output are starting to re-appear.
