South Korea's Hyundai Steel Co has secured two ferrous scrap cargoes anew from the USA, totaling 80,000-90,000 tons in quantity, for October shipment under negotiated deals with Australia-based Sims Metal Management Ltd in late August at around 489 US dollars/MT C&F for No1 HMS, it turns out. The deal for the first cargo was settled around August 20, and that for a second cargo around August 27. The composition of each cargo contains HMS, the bonus grade (P&S and bushelings), and shredded material, with the HMS accounting for a large portion.
