On 15th March (14th by local time), Teck Resources Ltd. of Canada rectified down its estimate on coal sales in the first quarter 2011 (January-March) to 4,600,000 MT to 4,900,000 MT. As of middle January this year, the company had estimated coal sales in the first quarter at 5,000,000 MT to 5,500,000 MT.
