The negotiations with electric furnace mills of Japan on Yen prices of bulk ferro-alloys ( ferro-silicon and silicomanganese ) for shipments in the first quarter ( January - March ) of 2001 have been taken place from the second half of last week and, in view of a dramatic fall of the prices on US dollars base for imports into Japan as incidentally arisen, the distributors concerned have faced the difficulties to propose Yen prices for the next quarter.
