The average prices of LME nickel in May of 2010 were known as <> 22,008.16 US dollars per ton ( 9.983 US dollars per lb. ) for cash and <> 22,089.21 US dollars per ton ( 10.020 US dollars per lb. ) for three-month futures, both of which had fallen considerably in comparison with those in the previous month of April.
