Evraz, a leading steel company in Russia, released on the 15th of October their production activities of vanadium in the third quarter ( July - September ) of 2010. According to this report, Evraz Group produced 5,212 tons ( on vanadium content base ) in total of vanadium slag in July - September quarter of 2010, which decreased by 0.2% compared with that ( 5,224 tons ) in the same quarter of 2009 and also had a decline of 4.9% compared to that ( 5,478 tons ) in the preceding quarter of April - June.
