Peter worked and tutored a range of pharmacy disciplines in Huddersfield Royal, Seacroft Hospital, St James' Teaching Hospital and Battle Hospital, Reading, before becoming staff pharmacist at the Royal Hallamshire in Sheffield. After moving to Wirral Health Authority in 1987 as staff pharmacist in clinical pharmacy at the Ciatterbridge Centre for Oncology, he developed a particular interest in palliative oare therapeutics. Appointed as a pharmaceutical advisor to the Family Health Services Authority (Liverpool), he worked with GPs from all across the district and presented to students at Liverpool John Moores University, spreading his well-earned knowledge and experience.
