Regulator issues draft guidance on preparation of unlicensed medicines

DRAFT professional guidance on how pharmacy owners and superintendent pharmacists can demonstrate that they are meeting quality and patient safety standards in the preparation of unlicensed medicines has been drawn up by the General Pharmaceutical Council. The guidance covers all unlicensed medicines including the extemporaneous preparation of methadone.
