Balance between greed, and professional integrity and reputation

Seeing the response from Peter Lowe (PJ 1 March 2014, p228) I was reminded of events that occurred during a British Pharmaceutical Students' Association conference in the mid-80s. Forgive my imprecise memory of the exact year and location. Preparing for a policy debate, a number of students considered the introduction of a motion. The question to be asked was: "Why are there a disproportionate number of pharmacists with 'funny-sounding names' appearing before the Statutory Committee?" Those considering the motion were ethnically diverse and included those with the names BhatM, Gokani and Cohen.
