Is your workplace safe for patients?

LAST December, The Journal reported the findings of a preliminary survey by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society which looked at pharmacists' perceptions of patient safety in the workplace (PJ 2012;289:671-2). This was the first in a longitudinal series of surveys with a representative cohort of members that aims to measure and track accurately how pharmacists perceive their work environment with regard to patient safety. Here we present the findings from the second survey, carried out six months later.
