BOPA votes to continue with RPS affiliation talks

MEMBERS of the British Oncology Pharmacy Association have voted unanimously for there to be a continuation down the path of towards affiliation with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. A show of hands took place during the organisation's annual general meeting at the 16th BOPA Symposium held in Edinburgh last week. Ian Costello, BOPA chairman, revealed that discussions had already been taking place with the RPS over creating an official affiliation between the two organisations. He asked for participants' permission to proceed with this course of action. All present at the meeting voted in favour of doing so.
