MR DISPENSER is the pseudonym of a blogging pharmacist who has supplemented his own writings with anecdotes by fellow pharmacists, pharmacy staff and students, culled through social media such as Twitter. The book is a sequel to an earlier compendium, one chapter of which formed the basis of an article in last year's PJ Christmas miscellany (2012;289:729). Both books poke gentle fun at the foibles of healthcare professionals and pharmacy customers. They do so by reproducing contributors' tweets along with items from the author's own blog (mrdispenser.wordpress. com) and from "guest" bloggers.
