Check for vascular events in patients using glycopyrronium

CLINICIANS with patients who are taking glycopyrronium inhalation powder should look out for vascular adverse events and report any that occur, the June Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin (2013;51:66) advises. The Novartis drug, marketed as Seebri Breezhaler, provides another option for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients, but there is not enough evidence to recommend it over the existing long-acting bronchodilators, the DTB says.
