Empathy is a necessity

I read with interest the News item entitled "Pharmacies need to be more dementia-friendly" (PJ, 13 July 2013, p38). I am often surprised by the ignorance of pharmacy staff and pharmacists of the complete change in personality the disease can cause in patients.
