Scotland forges ahead on GP joint working agenda

ENHANCED communication between pharmacists and GPs is one of the objectives in an action plan published by the Scottish departments of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Royal College of General Practitioners. The action plan follows on from a joint statement issued earlier this year (PJ 2012;288:234).The Society's director for Scotland Alex MacKinnon explained that the plan is at an early stage but that some areas for joint working have already been agreed.
