Outstanding commitment of Welsh LPF wins Society's LPF of the Year Award

ANEURTN BEVAN Local Practice Forum in the Newport area of Wales was named LPF of the Year at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's conference in Birmingham earlier this year. Nominated by LPF lead Martin Davies, the LPF, under project lead Mike Curson, head of pharmacy and medicines management at Anuerin Bevan Health Board, was able to demonstrate outstanding commitment and achievement in 2012/13, all of which successes were recognised by the RPS. It is clear that Aneurin Bevan LPF punches well above its weight. Despite being just two-thirds the size of its neighbouring LPF, it has managed to achieve some of the highest event attendances in Wales and delivers a varied, imaginative programme, across all sectors, which receives consistently good feedback from participants.
