摘要

ONE fifth of prescriptions written by GPs contains a mistake, according to the results of what is being called the largest ever study into doctors' prescribing errors. The findings have prompted calls from the General Medical Council, which commissioned the research, and from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society for greater involvement of pharmacists in GP practices, to help eliminate errors.
