Guide to clinical trials insurance

UPDATED guidance on insurance and compensation for phase I clinical trials has been published by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, Biolndustry Association and Clinical Contract Research Association. Designed for use by trial sponsors, clinical research organisations and ethics committees, the guidance covers first-in-man trials involving healthy volunteers and studies conducted in volunteers who do not have a drug's target disease, to provide extra pharmacokinetic data.
