HEARTY congratulations are in order for some leading pharmacists as they received well deserved awards and recognition in the highest circles. Buckingham Palace was the venue for pharmacist Ronald Pate when he was invested as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) at a ceremony conducted by the Princess Royal in November. Mr Pate (pictured, right displaying his medal outside Buckingham Palace), took the opportunity to take his family for a celebratory tea at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Lambeth headquarters.
