THE new Pharmacy Information Management & Technology (IM&T) Strategy Group, hosted and chaired by RPS Assembly member Sid Dajani, has set out its aim of influencing UK and EU policy, as well as supporting the development of the profession through improved IT. Mr Dajani said: "We will be responding to relevant professionally orientated consultations from a joined-up, whole systems perspective. We want to be proactive and ensure that all stakeholder views can be heard so we can better support our profession, as well as delivering quality and more efficient healthcare to patients and the public. The group will encompass all sectors and span all three countries of Great Britain.".
