On Tuesday 15 May 2012, the All-Party Pharmacy Group announced its findings from its enquiry into medicines shortages (see p602). The inappropriate selling of medicines to EU countries required for UK patients was identified as a key problem So too was the over-supply of wholesaler licences without sufficient regulation and control.
