Pharmacists have greater value than just dispensing

I see that the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee has proposed new services for pharmacy (PJ, 25 June 2011, p737). It puts it in such a way that the money from the core dispensing business will be used to provide the new services. My understanding is that pharmacy needs to show and prove that it has a greater value than just dispensing.
